Lose weight by getting a good night’s sleep?

It’s true! According to a 16-year study of about 70,000 women, researchers discovered that “those who slept five hours or less a night were 30% more likely to gain 30-plus pounds than those who got more rest.” The research found that women need a minimum of 7-1/2 hours of sleep each night and the average is about 6-1/2 hours a night. When people are tired, we tend to snack more. That’s because your body craves those delicious but unhealthy simple carbohydrates like candy and chocolate.

What kind of sheets should I buy?

Sheets determine the initial feel of your mattress set. Make sure that your sheets feel good right out of the package and more importantly do not use fabric softener because it coats the fabric and does not allow it to breath properly with your body.

Why can't you sleep on your Back?

Most people would prefer to sleep on their back, however due to pressure in their lumbar area they roll to their sides. Purchasing a proper supportive mattress will reduce lumber pressure and allow to sleep more on your back.

Do you sleep better in a recliner than your current mattress?

Studies show that with a slight head and foot elevation will cause you to stay in one position longer by reducing lower back pain and increasing the ease of breathing. Positional beds are your best option to get the best back support, and put you in optimal sleep position.

Do you toss and turn frequently during the night?

It’s great to actually sleep through the night!

It’s great to actually sleep through the night! Thanks to our new ‘Sleep to Live’ bed my wife and I are both sleeping better. I needed a softer mattress…one with more cushion.
